“Do you think that really every child can be moved from one family to another, no matter how much time he or she has spent in it? Then why don’t you give up your daughter<\/a>? After all, there would certainly be a family in our country that would be more emotionally efficient, nicer, wealthier, better educated than yours. If we are talking about the welfare of a child, why don’t you give your daughter to such a family in his name, trusting that the flexibility of a child’s bond is infinite and that every child can be exaggerated from one place to another?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– When I propose this, I hear: “Madam, my daughter is not such a child.” What kind of child is she? Are there any other children from families that are not very well educated, from orphanages, from foster families? They have a different species quality, different rights? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This answer is the whole point – we have a condescending, benevolent attitude towards children from difficult places all the time. There is a lot of pity and compassion in it. It seems to us that if we throw them a teddy bear, they will be happy, cry out of happiness at the sight of a jar of nutmegs and generally these material goods and the design of their fate by adults are the only things that children need. We are not at all interested in what they have to say and how they feel about their own situation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Skoro m\u00f3wimy o dobru dziecka, dlaczego w jego imi\u0119 nie odda pani c\u00f3rki takiej rodzinie, ufaj\u0105c, \u017ce elastyczno\u015b\u0107 wi\u0119zi dziecka jest niesko\u0144czona i \u017ce ka\u017cde dziecko mo\u017cna przesadzi\u0107 z jednego miejsca w drugie?”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Kiedy to proponuj\u0119, s\u0142ysz\u0119: “Prosz\u0119 pani, moja c\u00f3rka to nie jest takie dziecko”. Takie, czyli jakie? Dzieci pochodz\u0105ce z niewydolnych wychowawczo rodzin, z dom\u00f3w dziecka, z rodzin zast\u0119pczych s\u0105 inne? Maj\u0105 inn\u0105 jako\u015b\u0107 gatunkow\u0105, inne prawa? W tej odpowiedzi tkwi ca\u0142e sedno – my ca\u0142y czas w stosunku do dzieci z trudnych miejsc mamy protekcjonalny, dobrotliwy stosunek. Du\u017co w nim lito\u015bci i wsp\u00f3\u0142czucia. Wydaje nam si\u0119, \u017ce jak obrzucimy je pluszakami, to b\u0119d\u0105 szcz\u0119\u015bliwe, pop\u0142acz\u0105 si\u0119 ze szcz\u0119\u015bcia na widok s\u0142oika nutelli i generalnie te dobra materialne oraz zaprojektowanie im losu przez doros\u0142ych to jedyne, czego dzieci potrzebuj\u0105. Zupe\u0142nie nie interesujemy si\u0119 tym, co one maj\u0105 do powiedzenia i jak odczuwaj\u0105 w\u0142asn\u0105 sytuacj\u0119.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
